Yes, Dorsal production is entirely carried out in the production plants located in three sites in the Veneto region.
By Bed System we mean the set of bed components: the mattress, the bed base and the pillow.
Dorsal carries out laboratory tests to verify the average duration of the product by simulating the use of a normal-weight person who uses it for approximately eight hours a night.
It is important to say that durability may depend on many factors: maintenance, environmental conditions, physical structure of the user, habits, etc.
On average the duration is 8/10 years.

Yes, Dorsal Medical Devices are deductible as medical expenses in the 730 and Unico tax returns. To be entitled to the deduction, the expense must be accompanied by a medical prescription or self-certification and substantiated by an invoice or tax receipt made out in the name of the person incurring the expense, plus a description of the Medical Device.
Pillow/cushion and topper information
It is essential that the pillow you choose correctly fills the space between your head and shoulders and guarantees a correct postural position.
Our advice: the pillow should also be chosen in relation to the mattress.
If the mattress is soft and enveloping, the pillow will have a medium/low height; if, on the contrary, the mattress is very firm, the pillow will probably have to be higher and medium firm.
A good rule, also a hygienic one, is to replace the pillow every 3 to 5 years.
All Dorsal pillows are already fitted with a non-allergenic viscose fabric cover when purchased, which covers and protects them.
Dorsal also offers a series of covers with zips, in various types of fabric, which can be washed periodically in the washing machine, for total hygiene.
A children's pillow must be soft, not too high, hypoallergenic and antibacterial, and above all washable.
The topper can make sleeping even more special by significantly improving contact comfort.
The topper is a kind of mattress pad that is placed on the mattress, is removable and transportable and fits any bed. Practical and versatile, it also helps protect the mattress, thus extending the life of the mattress.
Up by Dorsal is a real mattress with a thickness of 6 cm, the topper on the other hand is a sort of 4 cm quilt that is attached to the mattress by means of practical elastics.
Compared to the topper, Up has a beneficial increase in comfort, becoming a real ‘corrector’ for stiffer mattresses.
Mattress information
Yes, all Dorsal mattresses have removable covers on all 4 sides for practical and hygienic washing of the cover.
It is the degree of rigidity of the mattress. They are indicative parameters because the sensation of stiffness or softness is very personal. This is one of the reasons why it is important to try out several mattresses in person in specialised centres.

There is no such thing as a product that ‘feels warm’. However, there are materials such as memory which are more enveloping and can therefore give a sensation of warmth, because the body is exposed to less air and is more in contact with the mattress surface.
The perception of coolness as well as warmth is personal.
However, there are breathable materials with thermoregulating characteristics designed to dissipate heat. Dorsal offers Gel on several mattress models.

Yes, Dorsal is an FSC and PEFC certified company and exclusively produces bed bases in 100% certified wood.

Generally speaking, the independent spring mattress is not recommended for motorised bed bases, unless its structure is created ad hoc, such as the Suite Spa Dorsal model.

On the inside of the mattress itself, when you open the zip, you will find a fabric label with the composition of the fabric and instructions for correct maintenance.
In models that have a summer side and a winter side, opening the zip of the cover in a label shows the Memory side, which is to be considered the winter side.
Dorsal pillows come complete with a removable pillow cover that can be washed periodically.
Only in the case of the Energia model is the entire pillow cover washable by hand in water, following the washing instructions.
Yes, all Dorsal models can be used with thermal blankets with the exception of the Talalay latex models.

The Dorsal warranty follows European regulations and is 2 years.
However, there is a free extension of a further 3 years, except for electrical parts.
