Since 1932 we have been designing and manufacturing bed systems that guarantee the highest quality of sleep. We have dedicated a lot of work and all our passion to the dynamics of sleep. The results have rewarded us: we have gained a unique experience that allows us today to offer a complete range of products, able to guarantee a healthy rest and improve the quality of life.
A production process that is always under the control of experienced and qualified technicians, as ours is also a company built around enthusiastic people with a true passion for excellence, who know how to guarantee a quality product, competently intervening in all the different and delicate production phases.

Naturalness and certified technology
At Dorsal we have always designed and manufactured products that respond to the demand for naturalness while guaranteeing regenerative rest for the body.
Grand Soleil the first, the original mattress made from renewable natural sources, and Vitalay, thanks to its special latex blend, are now the real protagonists of our proposal.
The result? Highly breathable, hygienically perfect mattresses with the highest level of comfort and in perfect harmony with the environment. This natural choice is completed by our slatted frames, which year after year have distinguished themselves in the market for their undisputed quality and the careful selection of beech wood, from which they are made.
However, the technological aspect is the starting point for each of our new projects. There is a natural direction to which we can look with optimism, the one that supports the use of renewable resources and that constantly focuses on the search for new technological solutions that guarantee total respect for the environment.
At Dorsal, the technologies used are certified by the best laboratories, both at the product manufacturing stage and by our selected suppliers, to guarantee natural quality that lasts over time.
Dorsal obtained certification in 2001 and renewed it in 2003, adapting it to Vision 2000. Every level in Dorsal is involved in this quality process whose ultimate aim is to increase the company's competitiveness in order to pursue complete customer satisfaction.
The support of CARMEN, a major coordinating centre for Renewable Resources based in Bavaria, bears full witness to the environmental consciousness of Grand Soleil, the original natural oil-based mattress.
Dorsal is a member of the Catas Test Laboratory where it performs all product tests.
At the Hohennstein Institute in Germany, the Tubes® system from the Zefiro mattress line was subjected to specific tests for a thermo-physiological assessment of its transpiration and moisture absorption capacities and the Naturargento coating for its applied Nano Technology.
EC Declaration of Conformity pursuant to EEC Directive 98/37 ex 392/89 and subsequent supplements, Annex II point A. Dorsal has obtained the CE marking and applies it to all anatomical motorised supports to safeguard and ensure consumer safety. The CE marking is accompanied by a user and maintenance manual.
At the dermatological university UNIVERSITÄTSKLINIK in ERLANGEN in Germany, the hypoallergenicity of Vitalay mattresses was checked and verified in laboratory tests.
The Oeko Tex Standard 100 (the class for children's products) guarantees the absence of substances harmful to the human organism and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes without the use of CFC gases. Products marked with this symbol are thermally recyclable.
German institute where tests such as weight and moisture resistance and breaking strength of the unique Dynaflex plank were carried out.
Mattresses classified as medical devices (directive 93/42/cee and resolution of 26/01/2007 no. 11). Dorsal products followed by this symbol are classified as medical devices, as they meet the requirements indicated for the prevention and onset of decubitus pathologies.
