Each medical bed frame by Dorsal is deductible as a medical expense in the tax return model 730 and model Unico.

These products are often also referred to as "electric frames" or "electric slatted frames". The terms are not entirely accurate because motorized frames do not directly receive power but are equipped with a transformer that reduces it to 24 V. Therefore, when hearing about "double or single electric frames", you can be assured of a functional and absolutely safe product to use.
Following an intense teamwork effort in collaboration with Specialist Doctors, Professionals, and accredited Laboratories, we have obtained certification for an entire range of mattresses, anatomical supports, and accessories as Class I Medical Devices.
All are CE marked, compliant with European Regulation (EU) 2017/745, with documented ergonomic performance and pressure-relieving properties. The certification process involved a significant portion of the Dorsal product range; in total, it covered 35 mattress models, 22 lines of supports, pillows, and accessories.
The quality of body pressure distribution was assessed by accredited Laboratories using a "Body Pressure Measurement System," both in supine and lateral positions, and for shoulder, hip/thigh, calf, and foot zones, yielding results well above reference standards.
Laboratory tests involved a representative sample of users with diverse anthropometric characteristics, divided by gender and body mass index. The tests were complemented by evaluation trials with user panels assessing ergonomic comfort.
The results enable us to offer the market a range of Medical Devices with documented ergonomic performance and pressure-relieving properties, significantly alleviating body pressure and consequently relaxing the entire vertebral structure.
The analyses were conducted to ensure user safety, providing a highly reliable and safe product.
Class I Medical Device Slatted Bed Bases
For Medical Device is meant “... any instrument, apparatus, appliance, implant, substance or other article, whether used alone or in combination, including the software necessary for its proper application, intended by the manufacturer to be used for human beings for the purpose of: diagnosis, prevention, monitoring, treatment or alleviation of disease; [...] and whose main intended action in or on the human body is not achieved by pharmacological or immunological means...”
Dorsal Medical Devices are deductible as medical expenses in the income tax return model 730 and model Unico. To be eligible for the deduction, the expense must be accompanied by a medical prescription or self-certification and supported by an invoice or receipt addressed to the person incurring the expense, along with the description of the Medical Device. The CE conformity declaration is included in the user and maintenance manual, together with the registration number; the data is also reported in the Dorsal transport document. All Dorsal Medical Devices are accompanied by a user and maintenance manual and a Declaration of Conformity.
